If I had a time machine, this would be where I went.
This is the most important video you will watch today.
This Is Important, You Should Know About It of the Day: A public meeting between members of Japan’s Nuclear Safety Commission and residents of Fukushima did not quite go as the government officials had hoped, with attendees demanding to know what is being done to protect residents from elevated radiation levels detected outside the government’s arbitrary 20km exclusion zone, and Nuclear Safety members responding that Fukushima residents don’t necessarily have the right to live a healthy life free from radiation exposure.
Residents are demanding the government do more to reduce radiation level or else provide financial support to those wishing to evacuate.
Meanwhile, Japan seems content to pass laws censoring reports reflecting negatively on their response to Fukushima’s nuclear radiation.
[thanks livinglights!]
I CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS. MOST EXCITED.
Hahahahahahah
THIS IS AMAZING.
Japan, I love you and you are awesome. This seriously made me well up a little.
Smile-Inducing Ad Spot of the Day: Japan Rail informed local residents that it will be filming an ad spot to introduce the new line connecting Kyushu to the bullet train system.

TMNT Fan Film of the Day: “April O’Neil reported on a new gang in the streets. Then it got personal. Only those below the streets can help her now.”
Fight The Foot is an independent short set in an alternate Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles universe in which Shredder is an evil genius who “takes over a common street gang and trains them into the organized clan later seen in the films.”
